Dog Treat Biscuits Recipe#1

Ingredients

Flour - 3 ½ cups
Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
Rye Flour – 1 cup
Corn flour – 1 cup
Cracked wheat – 2 cups
Dry yeast – 2 ¼ tsp
Dry milk – ½ cup
Chicken stock – 1 pint
Egg – 1 large
Salt – 4 tsp
Water (warm) – ¼ cup

Directions

Mix dry ingredients (apart from yeast) together. Mix yeast and water into solution and add chicken stock and egg. Pour liquid mix into dry ingredients and knead into dough. Roll dough out to @ 1/3" thick. Use cookie cutters to cut into shapes and place on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for 45 mins. Switch oven off and leave in in oven overnight.

Ingredients

Flour – 1 cup
Whole wheat Flour – 1 cup
Wheat germ – ½ cup
Dry milk – ½ cup
Shortening – 6 tbs
Brown sugar – 1 tsp
Cold water – ½ cup
Egg – 1 large
Salt – ½ tsp

Directions

Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut shortening into mixture. Combine egg with water and mix into dry mixture. Knead dough @ 2 mins. Dust rolling surface with flour and roll dought to @ ½". Use bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out portions and place on cookie sheet . Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 35 minutes.
